Below are some various help topics related to X-Plain.net and its content. If you cannot find any useful help below, contact us with a more specific question.

I don't have an e-mail address.
Providing your e-mail is optional. You can still view the tutorial even if you don't provide an e-mail. It is recommended that you not share access to your e-mail if you are concerned about privacy.

I can not see the program. I don't have Flash.
The Adobe Flash Plug-in is used to display the tutorials. Almost 97% of Internet users’ browsers have the Flash plug-in pre installed. Our Flash content requires at least version 8.0 of the plug-in to run properly. If you are having problems with the program itself, such as a blank or black screen, error messages, or slow performance, first try to upgrade your flash plug-in. Click here to install the appropriate plug-in by following the on-screen instructions. X-Plain.net programs will run best on Internet Explorer 8.x or Firefox 3.x on Windows. Also, although the programs can run okay with a 56k Internet connection, some pages have larger animations and narration that can slow the performance of the program. If the audio is not necessary for you, you can stop downloading it by clicking the “Mute Sound” button on the bottom of the page. This will speed the streaming of movies.

I don’t know how to print the program I want.
Once you purchase a tutorial, you have the option of printing its reference summary, which is included as a link below the top banner of the tutorial. The reference summaries include the text as seen in the program, excluding the questions, and may also include important illustrations. To print the reference summaries, you will need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in installed either on your system or browser. You can get the free plug-in here by following the on screen directions. You may need to upgrade if you have an older version of Acrobat Reader.
