X-Plain.net gives patients and their families access to X-Plain, the leader in multimedia patient education programs. The Patient Education Institute publishes X-Plain and sells it to clinics and hospitals.

X-Plain health education programs:

• Are unbiased and include no advertising
• Use multimedia (graphics, animations, and narration) to simplify and convey complex medical information
• Ask questions and give feedback to ensure understanding

We get our funding by selling our programs to your doctors and nurses. If your doctor or healthcare provider did not ask you to look at an X-Plain program, please tell him/her about us so he or she can specify which of our programs can help you.
